AUSTRALIAN WORK RIGHTS

A document that expired more than 36 months (3 years) is not accepted
A document that is cancelled or damaged
An Australian Birth Certificate/
Australian Citizenship Certificate
A document that has been damaged, torn or frayed and cannot be read
An Australian Immigration Status Card (IMMICARD)
An expired Immicard. (If the Immicard has expired, it will return an invalid Immicard result)
A current foreign Passport
A document that has expired
A document that is cancelled or damaged
Name mismatch with Visa or records i.e. VEVO
Further information about Australian Work Rights:
One or more of the these documents can be used as evidence of Australian Citizenship or Australian VISA for proof of Australian Work Rights
The document must be current (i.e. not expired)
The document must be easy to read (i.e. not blurry, or parts of it cropped out)
To avoid processing delays, the document must match the other identification documents you have provided. For example, if your name is John Smith, the document you need to provide to verify your working rights must have the name John Smith.
If the name on your ‘right to work’ document is different then the other document/s you have provided you will need to provide another form of identification in the same name. There may be delays in processing if your information cannot be matched.
A damaged licence that is unreadable i.e. faded photo or cracked card
Name mismatch with other identification documents
A temporary licence or an overseas international licence
TRANSPORT SUPPORT
Providing Transport Support to Hireup clients is optional.

When you have all of your documents in order, you can start a new application to provide Transport Support. Click Transport Support Documentation FAQ and follow the steps to apply.

A full Australian Driver Licence must be current and contain all of the following information:
Your full name
The licence number
The licence expiry date (must be current)
Some states, such as NSW, offer digital licences, and the requirements are the same
An international driver licence
A Provisional licence*
An expired driver licence
A suspended, cancelled or disqualified licence
A damaged licence that is unreadable i.e. faded photo or cracked card
Name mismatch with other identification documents
A temporary licence or an overseas international licence
* A Provisional licence is not accepted for the purpose of providing Transport Support to Hireup Clients.
Working With Children Checks and Working With Vulnerable People Checks
State/Territory Specific: Each state and territory has its own screening unit. Therefore the cosmetic look of each document may vary slightly. However;
All cards or certificates must be state-issued and include your registration details, full name and an expiry date
The initial “P” on a card indicates a new one has been purchased and ‘paid’ for.
