Your profile bio is your chance to shine. It helps our community get to know the real you, understand the specific support you’re looking for (or can provide), and learn what makes a great support worker a good fit for your lifestyle.
Creating your bio
Think of your bio as a friendly introduction. It’s the perfect place to highlight what’s important to you. We recommend including these key details to help workers understand how they can best support you:
- What you’re searching for in a worker
- Your interests, hobbies, associations
- Type of disability and support requirements
- Your short- and long-term goals
- Show your personality, i.e. you could include your favourite thing to do, or your favourite holiday destination

Hello, I’m an intern at a marketing agency and love watching movies and reading biographies. I want to move into my own home and build up my independent living skills. I’d love to find support workers who are outgoing and love to experiment in the kitchen. I have Spina Bifida and use a wheelchair. I need support around the house and driving to and from places.
Catherine
I love reading, singing and listening to heavy metal music. I'm usually upbeat and optimistic as long as we aren't talking about politics. You will need to get along with Lucy, my gorgeous Jack Russell and not wear strong deodorant or perfume during our booking. I like people that are upfront and honest, so please don't hesitate to ask me any questions and let me know immediately if there's anything you're uncomfortable with or don't understand.
Ethan (Account Managed)
Ethan is bright and excitable but can sometimes struggle to express himself when he's excited. He loves to go on walks to the park, eat hot chips and sing the Wiggles. Ethan's goals include becoming more comfortable when out and about in public and using public transport. He also wants to improve his guitar skills. Looking for a positive, outgoing support worker who can assume a mentor-like role for Ethan, keep up with his energy and ideally sing and play music with him.
Ready to update your bio?
- Once logged in, click your name and profile picture located on the top right of the screen
- Navigate to the Settings menu from the provided drop-down list
- Select and click the About You section located in the left-hand column displayed under the Profile heading
- Use the open text box under the Your Bio heading to update your profile
- Click Save
