As of May 2026, we’re introducing a new feature that allows you to edit repeat (recurring) bookings.
In the past, our system required you to either make changes one by one, or to cancel and recreate the entire series. To make the process less time consuming and complicated, we’ve updated our system to enable clients and providers to make changes to their repeat bookings seamlessly.
To edit a repeat/recurring booking:
- Click ‘edit’ on the booking detail screen
- Choose whether you’d like to edit ‘This booking only’ or ‘All bookings in this series’
- Edit the fields you need
When editing ‘This booking only’, you can update the following fields:
- Location
- Date
- Start time
- End time
- Support details
- Driving requirements
- Support category
- Finance reference
Changes will apply to the selected date only. All other bookings in the series will remain the same.
When editing ‘All bookings in this series’, you can update the following fields:
- Location
- Start time
- End time
- Support details
- Driving requirements
- Support category
- Finance reference
Changes will apply to all upcoming dates in the booking series.
- Save your changes to update the booking
Some important details to note:
- Changes cannot be made to shifts starting within 12 hours. Any changes made will apply from the next shift onwards. This is to provide stability for workers.
- The system will alert clients and providers to dates that clash with a worker’s other confirmed shifts.
- Workers will receive an email notification for any changes made to a booking, whether it is for a single shift or an entire series.
