How to find support workers
You can find support workers in a number of ways, via the Hireup platform;
- By posting a job to the Job Board
- Using the ‘Search’ function to find support workers in your area
- Contacting our dedicated teams of Client Support Services
You can post a job for either direct, indirect or remote support, to the Job Board. You simply need to describe your requirements, provide some details about what you’re seeking and when you’ll need support. You can then select from workers who’ve expressed interest, message them and create a booking with whoever you think is right for you.
If you prefer to reach out to workers directly, you can do so by searching for and messaging workers near you.
If you need help finding the right support workers or you are in need of urgent and essential supports, Hireup Client Support Services can help you. Book a Call with us here.
Can I choose to stop using a certain support worker?
Hireup enables you to stay in control of your experience and choose which workers you do and don’t want to provide you with support.
If you choose to stop making bookings with someone, just make sure to let that worker know and to cancel any future bookings in the system, in advance.
Please get in contact with Hireup if you have any concerns or have been involved in any incidents with a worker.
What are my obligations to my support workers?
As a service provider and employer for all support workers on the Hireup platform, we have a responsibility to ensure your safety and wellbeing, as well as that of our support workers.
Under the terms of service agreement, you also have a day-to-day responsibility to coordinate and manage your support workers, directly.
