Higher pricing applies to clients who require intensive and complex behaviour support, which usually includes restrictive practices. The base price for intensive and complex behaviour support is available on our pricing page.
When does the intensive and complex behaviour support pricing come into effect?
From 1st April 2025, Hireup will begin charging clients for intensive and complex behaviour support at the NDIS intensive and complex behaviour support cap rate.
Who does the intensive and complex behaviour support pricing apply to?
Behaviour support pricing usually applies to clients when support includes restrictive practices. If you are new to Hireup and require this type of support, we’ll discuss it with you over the phone before you book any workers. In some cases, we may charge a one-time establishment fee to cover the costs associated with setting up your account. There are no other special fees for using Hireup.
If you’re an existing Hireup client and this applies to you, you should have received emails and notifications about this update. If you’d like to confirm whether this pricing applies to you, reach out to our team.
Why do we have intensive and complex behaviour support pricing?
Hireup is committed to ensuring the support we deliver is safe and of the highest quality. Delivering high-quality, intensive and complex behaviour support takes a team. This is where our Relationship Managers come in — they work every day to ensure your supports are safe, effective, and moving towards better outcomes over time. By charging the NDIS intensive and complex behaviour supports cap rate, we can make this service sustainable and constantly improve its quality.
What are the benefits for our clients?
- Predictability and certainty as to how much your support with Hireup will cost
- A sustainable Relationship Management service that is continually improving
- No additional charges for non-face-to-face Relationship Management services
What does this mean for support workers?
Hireup workers receive higher total hourly pay when working with clients who require intensive and complex behaviour support. If you regularly work with a client who requires intensive and complex behaviour supports, Hireup will contact you to increase your pay. If you haven’t heard from us, please reach out to our team.
What if I have questions?
If you have questions, are concerned about your funding, or are unsure whether your plan includes funding for intensive and complex behaviour support, reach out to your Relationship Manager, who can help you navigate this change. This may include a referral to Hireup’s NDIS Pathfinder service, which is a free-to-access service that can assist you in discussing your funding needs with the NDIA.
