Can I support a family member?

Family members are considered informal supports within the NDIA. This means that in most cases, they cannot provide paid support to their NDIS funded family member. In special circumstances the NDIA planner will provide conditional approval for a family member to provide support. If a family member is able to provide the approval in writing, Hireup will review the suitability of support and may approve it. Please note, family members would still be required to complete Hireup's support worker application process.
