Yes! Support plans are a fundamental part of building safe and effective support partnerships. Your plan will include important personal and safety information, and will be made available to support workers you book.
In your support plan, it’s important to include key information about your support needs, NDIS goals, and details about specialised supports. This could include noting additional support documents such as mealtime management, transfer procedures, behaviour support plans, etc. Include as much information as you can for your support workers as they'll be required to read your plan before being able to work with you.
We value the safety of all our users, and keeping your support plan up to date is really important to ensure support workers have the most relevant and accurate information to best support you. As an NDIS registered provider, we’re also required to ensure compliance to the NDIS practice standards.
