As with all bookings, the platform will assist you when calculating the appropriate charges for your holiday. The hourly cost for holidays will be the same as any other shift on Hireup.
When booking your holiday support, it’s best to organise and set expectations with your worker, before booking it through the Hireup platform.
Things to consider are:
- who will be paying for expenses like accommodation or flights?
- will the worker be providing support the entire trip?
- if you don’t require support throughout the day, what is the expectation of the worker?
If your worker is providing active support throughout the trip, you will book them for each hour they are required. This means that the worker is booked for the entire day, and would need to be discussed with your worker prior to making the booking.
