As a result of recent legislation changes, Hireup will now be reporting your end of financial year payment summaries (group certificate) to the ATO in real time. This means that you won’t receive your end of year payment summary from Hireup, but you will be able to access it directly through your myGov account. Don’t worry, you’ll still be paid the same way, this just means you will access your payment summary in a different way.
Through your myGov portal, your payment summary will be called an ‘income statement’. Your income statement will show your year-to-date salary, the tax that has been withheld, and your superannuation entitlements, just like your group certificate would. Employers have until the 31st of July 2019 to report your income statement.
