A National Police Check is only required if you wish to provide transport support to Hireup clients.
If you’d like to provide transport support please upload a National Police Check to your Hireup application. This check needs to be an employment check (we may be able to accept a volunteer check if you have an NDIS Worker Screening Check), Australian, unsupervised or supervised contact (not ‘no contact’) and issued within the past 24 months.
If you’d like to provide transport support but don’t have a National Police Check can apply online with CITED and receive your check via email (usually within 24 hours). Once received, please upload the full check (with all pages) to your Hireup application for review.
Please note: We review Hireup applications as a whole, and cannot give a definitive answer before the entire application is reviewed for legal reasons. Therefore, your National Police Check will only be reviewed once your Hireup application has been submitted.
If another employer has your National Police Check that’s okay. Please request a copy and upload it to your Hireup application. Hireup will not request a copy on your behalf. If your employer won’t provide a copy you will need to apply for a new National Police Check.
